Statement of Faith.

Hallel Chapel believes that the Lord, God, is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He exists in three personalities revealed to us as: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All three persons of the Trinity are equal.

Genesis 1:1, 26-27  Matthew 28:19  1 Peter 1:2  2 Corinthians 13:14  1 John 5:7-8

Hallel Chapel believes that Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah. He is the image of the invisible God. He is co-equal with the Father. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His Virgin birth, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in the blessed Hope of His personal visible future return to this earth to receive to Himself, His blood-bought church that it may be with Him forever. The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ in Jesus’ name. And the Bible teaches that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only means of salvation and through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 1:22-23  Isaiah 9:6  John 1:1-4, 14  John 14:10-30  Hebrews 4:14-15 1 Corinthians 15:3-4  2 Corinthians 5:14-15  Matthew 24:26-31  Revelation 1:7  Romans 1:3-4  Acts 1:9-11  Titus 2:13

Hallel Chapel believes that the Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity and equal with God the Father and Jesus the Son. His presence causes men to be conscious of their need to be reconciled to Jesus Christ. He takes up residency in every believer when they accept Christ as their Savior. He is the Spirit of Truth. His primary roles are: to convict, counsel and comfort by providing Christians with power for living holy, understanding of spiritual truth, and supernatural assistance to live in righteousness before God. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is an endowment of power available to every believer following conversion. In addition to the fruit of the Spirit, Hallel believes that Christians can be filled with the Holy Spirit as evidenced by speaking in tongues as a heavenly language.  Hallel believes that speaking in tongues corporately to the church body can edify through prophetic words and should be done decently and in order and subject to the pastoral authority and church elders. We believe in the present supernatural ministry of the Holy Spirit through the believers by the manifestation of His gifts.

2 Corinthians 3:17  John 16:7-13  John 14:16-17, 26  John, 15:26  Acts 1:8  1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16, 12:7-11, 28  Ephesians 1:13, 5:18, 4:7-16  Galatians 5:22-25  Luke 24:49  Acts 2:4  Romans 12:6-8  1 Corinthians 14:1-33

Hallel Chapel believes Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. He is the ultimate object of God’s creation. Although man has remarkable potential for good, he is tainted by disobedience through sin. Sin separates man from God. The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ in Jesus’ name. We believe that God has a destiny for each believer to fulfill and that His ultimate purpose is for man is to be reconciled back to him.

Psalm 8:3-6  Isaiah 53:6a  Romans 3:23-24  John 15:16  Ephesians 2:10

Hallel Chapel believes that when Jesus returns, there will be a resurrection of believers and the final judgment. The final judgment will determine the eternal status of both believers and unbelievers.  Man was created to exist forever either eternally separated from God by sin in literal Hell, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation in literal Heaven. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.

John 3:16  1 John 2:25, 5:11-13  Acts 24:15  Romans 6:23  Revelation 20:15  Matthew 18:8  Matthew 25:44-46  Daniel 12:2  1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Hallel Chapel believes that the Bible is the infallible and inspired Word of God. Human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, wrote all of the Old and New Testaments; therefore, it is utterly dependable. The Holy Bible is the final authority on all matters to which it speaks. It is the ultimate foundation for all Christian doctrine, instruction, and correction. There is no fusion of error. It is fully applicable to contemporary culture as the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.

2 Timothy 3:16  2 Peter 1:20-21  Psalm 119:105, 160  Psalm 19:7-11  Proverbs 30:5  Hebrews 4:12  Romans 10:17

We believe that the Body of Christ is the Church, and its’ function is to continue the work of Jesus Christ in the earth. The Church exists whenever local Christians congregate together in fellowship and live in holiness. We believe that the complete church is the consolidation of all the assorted church communities that believe the foundational principles of Christianity standing in precise biblical instructions.

Ephesians 2:19-22  John 17:20-23 1 Corinthians 12  Ephesians 4:11-13

Salvation is a divine gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into one's life by confession of faith in His life, death and resurrection.

Romans 6:23  Ephesians 2:8-9  John 14:6, 1:12  Titus 3:5  Galatians 3:26  Romans 5:1  Romans 10:9-10
