Pastoral Mandate

Ezekiel 44:23 Amplified Bible (AMP)

The priests shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the common or profane, and cause them to distinguish between the unclean and the clean.

HOW DO YOU MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT? You invite them to church, give key highlights, and have coffee afterwards!

If we didn't see marriage coming, then becoming pastors seemed like an even bigger surprise. But when you live your life open to the Lord's plans and go with the flow, obedience guides your decisions.

He was a Broadway actor in NYC. She was a minister in Los Angeles. Two different lives on two different coasts. Random act: at a conference, in an entirely different city, family believed these two needed to meet. He moved to LA, they had lunch near Hollywood... and a six year friendship was birthed.

It took him some time to soften his New York edge and get closer to Christ to discover that one of his dearest friends was the woman of his dreams.  She broke an engagement, slowed her pace, and his support during a major life challenge made her see he was the protector that God sent to bring her joy.

It's been over five years (the number of Grace & Redemption) of marriage; a deeper study of the Word of God, and enduring enough hardships to destroy the best of couples. But the Holy Spirit guided these two, marked from birth, to submit to God's call on their lives.

It's simple: Team Ordell is led by the Holy Spirit of God, committed to service and adamant about fulfilling the Lord's call. The rest is gravy.
